Reid Bondurant: dancer
began dancing at age 12 at the Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy. She attended Reed College and was very involved in the dance community there, co-leading the student run dance troupe her senior year. Since graduating, Reid has been a member of 11:Dance Co, and recently co-founded sister:grit, a new Portland-based contemporary dance collective.

Hannah MacKenzie-Margulies: dancer
grew up in Lexington, MA and trained at the Lexington School of Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet School, and with the Vertigo Dance Company in Jerusalem. She has appeared at the Spoleto Festival USA, the Philly Fringe Fest, TBA: The Works, Ten Tiny Dances (Beaverton) and the Boston Summer Arts Festival. Hannah is a founding member of Portland’s sub.set dance and a nationally lauded lindy hop and vernacular jazz dancer. A recent graduate of Reed College, where she completed an interdisciplinary bachelor’s degree in dance and music, Hannah’s thesis explored the relationship of jazz dancers to constructions of “Americanness” on the US State Department’s Cold War Cultural Tours. She has a thing for animal masks and gold lamé.

Kasandra Martinez: dancer
is an Oakland, CA native and this is her Portland debut. She began dancing at age 6 in the styles of hip hop and Mexican Folkorico. She recieved her formal dance training under the direction of Dawn James from Skyline Performing Arts Academy until she graduated in 2012. Kasandra graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara B.A. dance program under the direction of Christopher Pilafian and Christina McCarthy in June 2016 where she was awarded the Alice Condodina Performance Award 2016. Kasandra has performed works by acclaimed artists such as Jose Limon, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Cherice Barton, Nancy Colahan, Jerry Pearson, Christina McCarthy, Delila Moseley, Dawn James, and Valerie Huston.

Claire Thomforde-Garner: dancer
has trained in performing arts, dance studies, and creative process with Carla Mann, Minh Tran, Eiko Otake, Ishmael Huston Jones, and Headlong Dance Theatre. Claire’s artistic process embraces whimsy and spandex, competition and laughter, rage, anxiety, and one Baywatch bathing suit.

Amelia Unsicker: dancer
is a Portland native, and trained professionally for several years at the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre. In 2011, Amelia graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in dance. Amelia performed as a soloist with Ballet Fantastique for four seasons. As a freelance dancer, she has worked with renowned artists such as John Magnus, Jennifer Camp, Emily Schultz, Jessica Harper, and Gunta Liepina. In 2013, she joined the Agnieszka Laska Dancers, where she performed The Rite of Spring, The Chopin Project, and Broken Flowers in Portland, Chicago, and several cities throughout Poland.
Amelia recently earned a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). While studying at UCI, Amelia choreographed several works, performed in many projects, and taught ballet and Pilates. She currently teaches dance throughout the Portland metro area, and works as a freelance dancer and choreographer.
